Paula is the co-founder and Chief Ecosystem Officer at Impacta Finance. Architect, Urban Planner, and Economist, since 2016 she has worked with collaborative local development and blockchain for social impact projects. She was previously part of the Ventures team at Plug and Play and Techstars, working with startups and corporations on Web3, Smart Cities, and Sustainability.

Gilad Goren

Gilad Goren is cofounder and partnerships lead at Bitgreen, a web3 social venture tackling the impact funding gap through impact investing and philanthropy solutions. He is a seasoned social entrepreneur with over a decade of experience leading nonprofit and for-profit organizations. His career spans tech, philanthropy and blockchain. Deeply engaged with models that align economic prosperity with environmental and social justice, Gilad has studied the subject in-depth, earning an MSc in Social Business from the London School of Economics, and has taught a graduate-level seminar at NYU. He currently resides in Portugal with his wife and two young boys – come visit!

Jeremy Epstein

Jeremy has been climate-concerned since a very early age and has spent his entire career addressing the climate emergency. With nearly 15 years focusing at the intersection of climate/markets/finance he is a believer in market-based forces as the most compelling driver of human behavior. His experience runs the gamut from GHG accounting, financing renewables and energy efficiency deployment for utilities, and carbon dioxide removal in all of its forms. He’s been Head of Growth with Open Forest Protocol for over a year and as a person who finds his personal energy and self in nature, it feels like the best energetic fit to bring his skillset to bear every day building a system that will regenerate and conserve nature, at scale.

Simge is Co-Founder at GainForest in charge of the business strategy. Before she has lead several transformation process in large multinationals to lead forward their sustainability agenda. At GainForest she leverages her strong background in retail and responsible consumption to empower marginalized communities through web3 measure-to-earn solutions. She is also a Climate Reality Leader and a distinguished World Economic Forum Global Shaper with a leading position in Europe. Simge speaks more than five languages fluently and is currently based in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Iara is the founder and CEO of Nossa Terra Firme. Expert policy and large-scale intervention builder, Iara merges the knowledge from social movements, Ivy-League executive education and state of the art climate science to lead Nossa Terra Firme`s. Born and raised in the Braziliian Amazon, Iara holds a BA in Sociology (Brasilia University), MPA in Environmental Science & Policy (Columbia University). In 2017, Iara was chosen by the UNLEASH Innovation Lab as one of 1000 world talents for the fulfillment of the SDG agenda in the world.

Jori Armbruster

Jori is Co-founder at EthicHub, a protocol that helps unbanked coffee farmers access capital at low interest rates. With a deep background in coffee business, he partnered with Gabriella Chang to leverage web3 technology to provide affordable financing to smallholder farmers. EthicHub operates in Mexico, Honduras and Brazil and is continuously looking to expand its scope to new markets and continents.

Luiz Hadad

Luiz is a big wave surfer and Gnars DAO athlete. Graduated in law. Started working with blockchain/web3 in 2017, focused on education. Led global community building efforts for EOS Rio. Currently leads community building at Cambiatus, an open source platform that allows communities to create social currencies and collaborative businesses. Luiz leads a yearly research about the blockchain ecosystem in LatAm for Sherlock Communications and helps them as a web3 consultant. Also serves as an advisor for Ethereum Brasil, Muda Outras Economias, Surfguru and Play4Change.

Gregory Landau
Regen Network
Gregory is co-founder of Regen Network, an application specific public blockchain built with the Cosmos SDK. Regen is designed to support carbon markets and other ecological markets with ecological state verification and ecological asset issuance. Regen Network is a full stack Web3 community, using markets to coordinate climate action and ecological regeneration. Before founding Regen Network, Gregory co-wrote Regenerative Enterprise (2013) – a groundbreaking book outlining pathways to achieve ecological and social regeneration through business – as well as co-founded and grew Terra Genesis International from a Regenerative Agriculture consultancy and design firm, into a leader in the Regenerative Movement. Gregory also currently hosts the Planetary Regeneration Podcast.

Luis Adaime

Luis has a Management Science and Engineering major and Economics minor at Stanford University (California, USA), Luis started his career at Credit Suisse, where he became vice president. In 2020, Luis decided to work with sustainability in a way that would have a higher impact. He launched MOSS with the mission of combating climate change and preserving the Amazon via the creation of a digital transaction platform for carbon credits. Luis believes that Brazil has the world’s main forest and needs to develop its carbon credit market, combining environmental preservation with economic growth.
