Marcia Soares: As one of Brazil’s largest mining companies, Vale also sponsors one of the Amazon’s largest grantmakers. By creating innovative financial mechanisms and strengthening businesses with positive social and environmental impacts, Fundo Vale, or the Vale Fund, is helping Brazil to become a global leader in bio-economics.
