Building a Sub-National Climate Fund with an Amazon Focus

Concerned about planetary sustainability, a team of investor, non-profit and government institutions, joined forces in 2020 to launch the Sub-national Climate Fund Global (SnCF) to finance nature-based solutions to climate change. Positioned to mobilize $750 million with seed funding from the Green Climate Fund, the group is poised to support projects in dozens of countries, including the Amazon region of South America.
