Amazon Day Celebrations in 2025

September 5th is the Amazon Rainforest Day. Let’s celebrate!

The Amazon Investor Coalition (AIC) and their ambassadors will host small, invite-only gatherings across the globe on and around September 5th, 2025, in celebration and honor of the Amazon rainforest. Guests and presenters will include leaders and allies interested in Amazon forest investing, philanthropy, and commerce

The Amazon Investor Coalition (AIC) was launched in 2020 to unite investors, donors, and allies committed to shifting rainforest economies away from deforestation. Since then, AIC has facilitated over 300 connections between global financiers and Amazon-based projects, catalyzing over $50 million in new investment and deploying over $1 million in catalytic philanthropy to Indigenous cooperatives, NGOs, and sustainable enterprises. AIC ambassadors are trusted allies of the organization with a demonstrated commitment to advancing its mission.

This gathering will bring together those advancing climate-aligned investment and forest-based economic models in the Amazon. It’s a chance to meet fellow funders, founders, and field-builders committed to ensuring the forest is worth more alive than cut and burned.

Join us to celebrate Amazon Rainforest Day and meet the Amazon Investor Coalition, and their community.  Together we will explore the risks of the Amazon forest tipping point, the integrity of the global water cycle, and the quest that many share of how to protect the world’s largest tropical forest.  Who are the leading investors and grantmakers in the region?  What are the leading opportunities for economic development? What are people expecting from COP30?  Join us to discuss these questions and more.

These gatherings will also serve as the foundation for AIC and its ambassadors to continue to engage locally and globally, while making connections for locally relevant stakeholders and communities.
