Online Event – Amazonia Impact Ventures

Founded in June 2020 by Pajani Singah and Aldo Soto, Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV) backs Indigenous and forest-based enterprises to protect the Amazon, regenerate biodiversity, and improve livelihoods. Operating from the UK and Peru, AIV mobilizes flexible, impact-linked finance for cooperatives and small businesses that are too large for microfinance, but overlooked by traditional lenders.

Since inception, AIV has invested over $9 million across 34 loans in Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia—supporting more than 4,000 producers (36% women, 32% Indigenous) and influencing over 200,000 hectares of forest and farmland.

Its fund, Amazonia Impact Fund I, uses a blended finance structure with a $25M debt facility and $1M in technical assistance. Loans are tied to verified environmental and social KPIs like reduced deforestation, women’s inclusion, and regenerative practices.

AIV focuses on markets with strong Indigenous networks, demand for deforestation-free value chains, and clear potential for scalable, community-led impact—primarily in Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia.

Join us to meet Co-Founder Pajani Singah and explore how AIV is financing a nature-positive future in the Amazon.
