Investing in Deforestation Free Commodities
Brett Mallen: The government of Norway invested $100 million dollars in the “&Green Fund” to de-risk the investments of others and mobilize up to $2 billion in additional sustainability financing. Managed by Sail Ventures, the Fund aims to protect 5 million hectares of land while improving the lives of 1 million smallholder farmers, including many in the Amazon.
